Windows 7 Expected to Arrive In 8 Weeks
So much for the Vista hype. Now, news of Windows 7 surfacing in the two upcoming major technology conferences the Professional Developers Conference and the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference respectively. Speculation of Microsoft showcasing their latest operating system Windows 7 is just not the case of smoke without fire.

Michael Cherry, an analyst at Directions on Microsoft said, “When that many developers [come] together, you want them to go home with something that they can play with.” The last thing on the agenda of Microsoft will be to make themselves feel invisible.

Geared towards its goal of pushing out Windows 7 beta after the debut of Vista, this will be a good benchmark of the company’s progress and stand in the OS market. As far as end-users are concerned, if the operating system is stable and secured, we tend to stick with what we are already used to. Vista has not given much reason for Windows XP lovers to cross over to except for its fancy graphics. Let’s hope Windows 7 has more to offer.
