When you’re a famous phone maker like Sony Ericsson, it becomes a little tough to keep your newest products under wraps. The new kid on the block is the F305 motion gaming phone, which features a built-in accelerometer for motion sensing games.
Other notable features include a 176 x 220 resolution, a Memory Stick Micro slot, and a specially designed directional pad and two face buttons specially located for gaming purposes. While we’re pretty sure that its not going to be the rumoured Playstation Portable Phone, it certainly can’t fare any worse than the Nokia N-gage can it? The button layout certainly lends itself to ergonomic gaming, and we could be looking at some NES/Gameboy Color emulators in the very near future. After all, who could say no to some portable Contra on the go?

Everyday there is a new mobile phone model is being released in to the market. Some are trendy, some are smart and well designed and loaded with hundreds of features.
Did you ever wanted to have a phone that’s just a phone. Here comes the lightest and smallest phone: Modu Mini phone. You can think of Modu as an expanded SIM card. It can make a call, send text messages, and hold a contact list—the bare minimum required to be a mobile phone. That is why it is so small—about the size of an iPod Nano.
This Modu Mini Phone is a modular phone, that can be slipped into different device jackets —like an MP3 player, a GPS device, a bigger cell phone, car stereo, or a digital camera. (Although, it will initially only support GPRS, which is slow. Another drawback—there is no WiFi.) In a camera, for instance, Modu can be used to send pictures over the wireless network. Mobiado has got another luxury cellphone to show us here. It’s called the Mobiado 350 Pioneer, the phone is space-themed, has a body that was CNC-machined from spacecraft aluminum, resulting in a super hard surface that could probably survive through the hits of meteoroids and comets.
Since this phone belongs to the luxury grade, it comes with frame that is inlaid with sapphire crystal, and the infrared window is made from a solid piece of ruby crystal. Even buttons and screws have got expensive make-over – the buttons are combination of crystal, sapphire and stainless steel, the screws are gold-plated steels.
The features of the Mobiado 350 Pioneer include multimedia playback, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.36-inch 16-million color display, integrated GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity.
Only 37 units of this luxury phone have been made, which are to represent the number of years the Pioneer 10 spacecraft has been traveling through space.

Asus P560 is a mobile PDA phone that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and is scheduled to hit Europe in June this year. The phone is targeted for a price of about 500 Euros.
The Asus P560 comes with a GPS navigation kit, which this GPS kit includes a couple of accessories such as the mounts, car charger, the iGO 6 navigation software with regional European maps preloaded on a 512MV memory card. As mentioned, the P560 will run Windows Mobile 6.1 as the OS, which has couple of improvements on the UI and Internet browsing over the earlier versions and it’ll feature a new touchscreen.

Sure, the drinkers will love this phone to be used at home. This home telephone is shaped like a Budweiser beer bottle. Definitely first thing in your mind is it’ll always raise your crave for booze.
The Budweiser phone also comes from the same hands, from the maker of the Budweiser beers. It’s a little surprise to me, that the Budweiser wanna make a phone like this. Perhaps, it’s just meant for some marketing purposes. As it’ll always remind people to think about their beverages.
The Budweiser phone here is an official product of the company. To make a call using this phone, you’ll have to lift it up and punch in the numbers on the keypad attached to its bottom. Slap it down on the table to hang it up. The Budweiser phone has a phone port, which lets you connect it to a phone socket using a standard telephone cable that has the RJ11 connectors on both ends.
Someone who’ve got little drunk, would have mistaken that this Budweiser phone as their favorite beer, would pick it up, pull the cap to drink more again.

Plica is a concept phone that makes use of two touch screens, which the top one working as a touchscreen and the bottom one used as a touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard.
The two-touchscreen concept allows a much wider working area on the phone. The device also folds both way, which you can then use the screen inside for transport and the screen folded outside as the touchscreen similar to one found on an iPhone. The Plica phone is also equipped with various connectivities, such as USB and headphone ports, which allow you to connect to a computer for file transfer and an media player for audio and video playback respectively.
The Plica concept phone comes out of the brain of designer James Piatt. The success of this phone definitely depends on the maturity of the touchscreen technology, as it highly depends on it. Multi-touch capability is definitely a must in this concept phone.

Samsung has showcased a green phone at the at the OR@S (Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung) in Beijing. The phone is made of lots of green materials, such as the case is made of bio plastic, and it comes in green color.
The Samsung E200 Eco cellphone is an ultra slim beast, which measures only 9.9mm for its thinness. The materials that make up this cellphone is extremely friendly to the environment. As mentioned the external case is made of bio plastic, which contains materials extracted from natural plant such as corn. Besides, the use of the bio-plastic also produces less chemical waste, the carbon dioxide in the manufacturin process. 1 ton of the bio-plastic used in manufacturing the Samsung E200 cellphone reduces 2.16-ton of CO2 compared with Polycarbonate produced from petroleum.
Other than that, the E200 cellphone also comes in a package that is made of green material. It’s packaged in a non-coated recycled paper box, which is also deemed environment-friendly. This new Samsung cellphone definitely shows the great effort from Samsung to go green, to help save the world from being destroyed by chemical waste one day.
Another two eco-friendly cellphones from Samsung, which we’ve seen, the W510 and the F268, were also showcased at the Green Zone during the Olympic games. The Samsung W510 also has its case made of bio plastic, materials that are extracted from corn. And no heavy metals used in manufacturing the W510.
The Samsung F268 is the first BFR / PVC free mobile phone. BFRs (Brominated Flame Retardant) is deemed to cause contamination to the environment in recent study, although it’s been used for decades in making consumer products. The Samsung F268 comes with all the accessories all made of materials that are free from BFR. The product complies to the Energy Star specs. If you’re an eco guy, the few Samsung green phones shall line up as your next cellphone of choice.

BlackBerry Pearl Flip, also known as Kickstart Clamshell, had come to our attention early in May. And now it’s got official. But disappointingly, it’s got no 3G high-speed data support. But you’ll find WiFi, a 2-megapixel camera and a full-on document editor on this first flip phone of RIM.
This flip phone will debut on T-mobile sometime in spring this year but the pricing details is still unknown. The Pearl Flip measures 3.9 x 1.9 x 0.7-inch, which is thinker than the original Pearl that measures only 0.57 inches in thickness. But the Pearl Flip presents a relatively compact look.
The Pearl flip carries an external display and an internal display that has a resolution of 240 x 320-pixel. And the SureType keypad lies exactly beneath the internal screen. As mentioned this flip phone can reach EDGE which has no 3G support, so you can only do simple emailing and Internet browsing on this phone. Heavy download tasks and streaming video will need you for a long wait.
The Pearl flip’s WiFi comes with UMA support, which might mean the phone is compatible with T-mobile’s HotSpot @Home Wi-Fi voice calling. GPS support seems to have no luck on the Pearl Flip, as the press release says that the Pearl lets you connect to a GPS receiver via Bluetooth. Meaning that it’ll have no built-in GPS module.
To elaborate more about the full-on document editor – it’s an editor that allows you to edit Office documents (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) on the go. Other goodies are a video/music player, an “enhanced” HTML browser, 2 MP camera that’s capable of video, voice commands and microSD memory expansion up to 16GB.
