Couple of blogs are saying that the above is the leaked spy photo of the iPod nano 4G version. What is on the picture is simply blur which is hard to be identified what it actually is. It could be some photoshop work. As you know, people like to make things up these days. Maybe those who’ve been dropped out of schools of graphic design would always like to do so. source

Oppps! iPod 4G Nano gets unboxed? And it wears a distinctive iPod nano 2G lime-colored coat

If you have an iPod Touch but you don’t have an iPhone, you could access almost all the applications that an iPhone has on the iPod touch. But the only missing is you can’t make phone calls on the iPod Touch.

For some reasons you wanna save your pocket from buying an iPhone, and you wish to make use of your iPod Touch to make calls, then Truphone has the solution for you. Truphone was developed by an UK-based company which is an application that turns iPod Touch into an iPhone.
Strictly speaking, Truphone allows you to make phone calls via Internet telephony service. Once you have the Truphone app installed on your iPod Touch, you’ll be able to make free calls to other users of Truphone, other iPod Touch owner and to Google Talk users.
Currently, the Truphone allows the few mentioned basic Internet phone calls. But they will soon include more features such as the followings:

According to three independent sources collected by TechCrunch, Apple is working on a large-form iPod Touch which should be scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2009. The Large Form iPod Touch will come in much larger screen size of 7 or 9 inch. (The current iPod Touch is with a screen size of 3.5 inch)
Prototypes have been handed out to one of the sources close to Apple for the testing and Apple was reportedly looking for OEMs in Asia for the mass production of the large-screen iPod Touch. According to one source that Apple has been experimenting internally with large form tablet devices for years. They have had worries that users might not like the large form device.

But these days, there are thousands over apps and games on Apple iTunes store, which have been specially made for a touchscreen device with accelerometer. Over 300 million applications have been downloaded since the iTunes store launched in July 2008. With all these popular touchscreen-based apps, it shall make a large-form iPod Touch to be more welcomed by users as larger screen size will make it to use or play those apps or games more comfortably.
There is no word for the pricing yet. The current iPod Touch with a screen size of 3.5 inch starts at $299. And the 32GB model costs $399. The large-form iPod touch shall be priced significantly higher than the current model. Hope they won’t double or price it up more due to it’s at least double the screen size of the current iPod touch.

Apple has rolled out a double capacity iPod Shuffle which is so tiny that will likely be swallowed up when held in a hand with fat fingers. The new iPod Shuffle comes with a 4GB storage capacity.

Due to the overly tiny size, the new iPod Shuffle comes with no volume control button. You can only find the volume control on the earphones cable, which also means that you can’t afford to lose the Apple’s original cable. If you lost it, you’d end up of being unable to control the volume. But I believe you should be able to get a replacement easily from Apple store.

The new iPod Shuffle also comes with talking features which allow it to speak with the user. The entire iPod Shuffle has only the shuffle mode button on its case. It doesn’t have a display either, but as mentioned it speaks with the user, so it relies on the VoiceOver feature to announce the title, artist of the track it’s playing and also the playlist on demand in about 14 different languages. The 4GB iPod Shuffle is priced at about $80, has a battery life of 10 hours only and available in black or silver.
