Couple of blogs are saying that the above is the leaked spy photo of the iPod nano 4G version. What is on the picture is simply blur which is hard to be identified what it actually is. It could be some photoshop work. As you know, people like to make things up these days. Maybe those who’ve been dropped out of schools of graphic design would always like to do so. source

But these days, there are thousands over apps and games on Apple iTunes store, which have been specially made for a touchscreen device with accelerometer. Over 300 million applications have been downloaded since the iTunes store launched in July 2008. With all these popular touchscreen-based apps, it shall make a large-form iPod Touch to be more welcomed by users as larger screen size will make it to use or play those apps or games more comfortably.

There is no word for the pricing yet. The current iPod Touch with a screen size of 3.5 inch starts at $299. And the 32GB model costs $399. The large-form iPod touch shall be priced significantly higher than the current model. Apple has rolled out a double capacity iPod Shuffle which is so tiny that will likely be swallowed up when held in a hand with fat fingers. The new iPod Shuffle comes with a 4GB storage capacity.

Due to the overly tiny size, the new iPod Shuffle comes with no volume control button. You can only find the volume control on the earphones cable, which also means that you can’t afford to lose the Apple’s original cable. If you lost it, you’d end up of being unable to control the volume. But I believe you should be able to get a replacement easily from Apple store.

The new iPod Shuffle also comes with talking features which allow it to speak with the user. The entire iPod Shuffle has only the shuffle mode button on its case. It doesn’t have a display either, but as mentioned it speaks with the user, so it relies on the VoiceOver feature to announce the title, artist of the track it’s playing and also the playlist on demand in about 14 different languages. The 4GB iPod Shuffle is priced at about $80, has a battery life of 10 hours only and available in black or silver.
