First of all, you’ll need to know what Lucid dreaming is all about before getting to know what this special device, the Lucid Dream Machine is meant for. Lucid Dreaming sounds little abstract for most of us and kind of hard to figure out.
Lucid Dream Machine lets you have full control of your dream!
Lucid dreaming is when you’re sleeping, but you’re aware that you’re asleep and dreaming, but you don’t wake up. But this mysterious state will give you full control of your dream. Lets say you can control what you want in your dream, who shall appear and who shall not or you can create whatever you want in your dream, be like a God.

Here comes the Lucid Dream Machine, which is a pair of glasses that you wear while you’re sleeping. After about 4 hours that you’re into your sleep, the device will then pulse the LEDs, which will shine through your eye lids. From that one, the flashing lights will get you partially awake or semi-conscious of what you’re dreaming and sleeping, so you will most likely be able to take control of your dream. Such as altering the ending, getting the villain killed, creating as many happy endings as you can.

It seems to be another rumor claiming that Apple is developing another version of iPhone, which is an iPhone equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The keyboarded iPhone is specially made to compete in the market which has been dominated by BlackBerry. The keyboarded iPhone is surely not to target the consumer marker. As consumers are already used to typing on the iPhone’s touchscreen.

The keyboarded version is to target office workers or executives who prefer typing on a full-sized QWERTY instead of the touchscreen.

In order to maintain almost the same size with the existing version of iPhone, the QWERTY keyboard of this new version of iPhone is to be slide-out. When you don’t need it, just slide the QWERTY in for better storage. The keyboarded iPhone will not be coming this year. At the current stage, it’s got some prototypes that have been sent to senior executives at some operators. And there are still some issues need to be solved.

Krave ZN4 is the first full touchscreen cellphone from Motorola, that is to be launched through major US carriers such as Verizon.

The Motorola Krave ZN4 supports the Krave ZN4 – Motorola’s first full touchscreen phoneVerizon 3G services including TV and music. Verizon also includes a couple of other great services such as mobile email, GPS, speaker independent voice dialing and also the visual voicemail.

This phone has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack which allows users to use any headphones to listen to music and enjoy the TV. Somemore it supports stereo Bluetooth which lets you grab music over it wirelessly. The device has a microSDHC card slot that has been tested capable of supporting up to 8GB cards, which is more than sufficient to store your music files and those photos taken with the phone’s 2 megapixel camera.

The Krave ZN4 comes with a Ming-inspired front-flip. The flip is transparent and also touch-sensitive too which needn’t be opened for controlling the phone. Some other minor functionalities can be done on the closed flip itself without opening it up, such as reading messages, controlling your music playback, and navigating the roads with VZ Navigator. Some more viewing photos and watching TV on the closed flip are also possible. Other operations such as writing messages, buying music, or navigating the main menu need you to open the flip. There is also a lock button, which prevents getting mistakenly touched while the phone is in a pocket.

LG has rolled out their first wireless full HD LCD TV, LH 80 Series in Korea. The wireless LG HDTV allows video players to beam HD video wirelessly to the LG TV.

This wireless LG TV is equipped with the newly developed “Media Box” which includes an LCD TV Tuner, HDMI hub that makes receiving HD video content wirelessly possible. My guess is there may be a need for the video player to be hooked up with a transmitter to wirelessly beam over the HD video content to be displayed on the LG LCD TV.

Posted by friend on under Accessories, Digital Camera | Comments are off for this article

Samsung has officially made their first SSD full HD camcorder, HMX-H106 available worldwide. It was first shown at CES earlier this year.

In short, it features 10x Optical Zoom with Schneider’s Varioplan-HD lens, full HD (1920×1080) with time lapse mode in 720p, a 4.7 megapixel (2880×1620) CMOS for photos, a Schneider Wide angle lens offering a wide angle view of 37 mm. It uses a 64GB SSD for its storage and offers a SD memory card slot for expansion. Find out more in the press release (published earlier this year) below:
Samsung HMX-H106 – first SSD-based full HD camcorder

AS VEGAS, N.V., January 5, 2009 – Samsung Electronics America, Inc. today extended its family of full-HD digital camcorders with four new models – the HMX-H106, HMX-H105, HMX-H104, and HMX-H100. Samsung’s new H-Series offer users high-performance, full-HD video, a renowned Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD lens with Optical Image Stabilization, and industry leading design; however, most notable is the use of internal Solid State Drives to provide onboard memory.

The HMX-H106, Samsung’s new flagship full-HD digital camcorder, is the world’s first to feature an internal 64GB Solid State Drive (SSD)*. Samsung’s renowned SSD technology offers a substantial advantage over the use of Hard Disk Drives (HDD) in a digital camcorder, providing consumers with higher performing and more durable internal memory. In comparison to HDD, Samsung’s SSD technology is more lightweight and compact, operates silently with very low heat emission, and features no moving parts, which significantly reduces overall power consumption and enhances reliability. No moving parts also make SSD technology more durable and resistant to shock and vibrations, which pose a considerable threat to the performance of HDD based digital camcorders. Additionally, Samsung’s SSD technology is faster than HDD, including quicker boot-up and read/write speeds which is required for the amount of data recorded in full-HD resolution. When actively reading and writing data, Samsung’s SSD technology consumes approximately 1/8th of the power of a comparable HDD
