Fujitsu has launched another waterproof cellphone, the F706i, which is best for those who enjoy talking on the phone while taking bath or swimming. Disposable cellphones might be in great demand these days. Especially for those who can’t afford for an expensive cellphone, who just want a simple device that can let them make calls and send messages. Bic is another company that has ventured into making disposable cellphones.

Bic, a company which has been into making disposable accessories, has now teamed up with Orange France to launch their Bic disposable cellphone. This phone will be a prepaid phone that comes pre-charged and provides you with an hour of free calls. It comes with a SIM card that is already inserted in it, which the users need to get the phone activated only to start making calls.

Once the users have finished the free time, they can then top up the Bic phone by purchasing Mobicarte pre-pay airtime cards. The Bic phone is manufactured by Alcatel, which comes with a telephone number that is included in the packaging. Of course, you don’t get high-end features on the Bic phone. What you can do are the mere making simple calls and sending texts.

Two flavors of colors are available with the Bic phone, which is either “Citrus Orange” or “Lime Green”. The Bic phone costs about $80 per unit, which sounds a little bit pricey and will be available from August 7th onwards in France.
