One of the great features of iPhone is its visual voicemail which lets you view a handy list of the voice mail, and select only those you wanna listen to. This handiness perhaps will get you build the bad habit of leaving lots of those voicemails on the iPhone without bothering to delete them.

Two simple ways have been suggested here how you can transfer the voicemail audio files on your iPhone to your computer.
The first method is to use SFTP to transfer the files onto your computer’s hard drive, provided you have jailbroken your iPhone, so you can SFTP into it. The second method, is to use your computer’s line-in port and a free recording software and record those messages manually, which needs the iPhone to be intact, not jailbroken.
