I suppose many of us would use the convenient notepad to store away your favourite links or the hard-to-remember passwords for easy reference. Yet we understand the risk involved in penning down our sensitive passwords on unsecured media form only to regret when we misplaced it. However with LockNote, you can be rest assured that your text documents are safe from normal prying eyes.
Steganos LockNote is a freeware windows application that allows users to password protect their text documents with strong AES 265-bit encryption. Upon saving your documents with LockNote, users are allowed to encrypt and decrypt confidential text information without worrying of data theft.
The program is easy to use. Open the program and store whatever information you need inside and save. Input and remember the password to encrypt the file. When you need to access the confidential documents again, you will be prompted again to enter the password.
