iPhone can now be used as a light dimmer, thanks to Lutron with their new application and wireless modules coming to iPhone and the iPod Touch.
Fix the Lutron’s wireless modules to those lamps that you want controllable by iPhone or the iPod Touch that has the Lutron dimmer application installed. The Lutron dimmer gives you better control of your lights in your living space. You can precisely set the brightness across the room. Some more its easy-to-use interface lets you seperate your house into zones, making it easier for you to manage their brightnesses.
If you want an iPhone-controllable lighting system for your house, you have to fork out for the Lutron’s wireless modules, which can cost several hundreds or thousands of dollars. Fortunately, the application is free and will be available in January.
