How to – Shortcut to Lock Your Computer XP
As you would have probably know, you can lock your local machine in windows XP by holding on to the windows key and pressing “L” i.e Win+L. However, if you were to try to lock a computer remotely, you would not have this ability.
Instead, you can create a shortcut on the remote computer desktop itself and execute the command to lock the remote PC. Either way, you can also use it on your own computer to lock it while you are away from your desk at work.

1) Right click on desktop and select New then ‘Shortcut’
