Look at the Google Logo of today, that simply shows that today is the day of the collision at the Large Hadron collider, to get those pesky particles to collide to recreate the Big Bang or Birth of Universe. It seems like hinting us that it’d be the last logo of Google.

A camera and furniture here are made of socks that do not stink. They are simply great artwork from the hands of a designer, Netta Amir, who has good imagination and creativity on how to build things using socks. The camera was made with pretty fine detail, where there is an LCD display and those necessary parts of a camera. More pictures after the jump!

There are always ways to make your products more appealing. Just look around, anything would make a new idea for making your design outstanding and unique. Designer Sebastian Errazuriz has got a couple of cool and interesting product ideas. Look, the picture shows that a Chicken Head Lamp, which looks so real, as if a real chicken has its head chopped off and with a lamp sticking on its neck. Hope this would not trigger the protest from the animal rights groups. The guy has more other interesting designs, more pictures to show you after the jump!

Here comes a new 12.1 inch digital photo frame just released by EDGE Tech Corp. This digital photo frame is capable of displaying images at a resolution of 800×600. It’s equipped with the slide show functionality and built-in MP3 player, which I think it’s kinda cool to have those pictures of you and your loved ones to play slide show and along with some romantic music in your living space. The slide show function can be set up with multiple transition effects in just minutes. Besides, it plays video too.
It’s compatible with many types of memory cards and drives for you to easily transfer your images to and from your computers or cams or some other mobile devices. The supported cards are SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, CompactFlash, Microdrive, and of course the USB flash drive.
It supports various file formats including AVI, BMP, JPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WAV, and WMA and comes with a mini USB cable that lets you hook up to your computer with no hassle. Everything seems to be fine to me with this digital photo frame. The only short is it’s got no support of WiFi or Bluetooth, as I prefer the way of shooting my images or video clips over wirelessly instead of having to swap cards or dealing with tangling wires.

It’s definitely hard for me to imagine what is shown in the picture is a pool cue. I’m not the kind of guy who is good at playing pool but at least I know how a pool cue looks like. But the one shown in the picture looks more like a long axe, which is the best weapon used in the ancient holy war. Believe it or not, this pool cue is currently the most expensive one in the world, which is asking for a price of $150,000.
This extraordinary cue is called “Intimidator”. It features four bold bladed wings that definitely can rip your pool table into pieces. The focal point is a Genuine Italian Obsidian Gemstone Sphere, an extraordinary, flawless round-shaped stone set in the butt cap. Guess how long it took for the designer to create this super cue? It took them about 1800 hours including hand engraving, hand etching and hand machining. The designer started out with a solid piece of stainless steel that weighs 82 pounds and spent a year of finely machining it into a 9.5 pound masterpiece.
Anyway, this super cue is just a piece of collectible art, which no pool club in this world will allow you to use it for playing pool on their pool tables.

This tree doesn’t need water and soil to grow. What it needs is the solar energy from sunlight. The solar tree is the solar-powered street lighting, which is the masterpiece of the great team-up of designer, Ross Lovegrove, Artemide and Sharp Solar. The solar tree is used to light up the Ringstrasse outside Vienna’s Museum for Angewandte Kunste, which is a museum for Applied Arts and Contemporary Art. More pics after the jump!

The statement from Lovegrove Studio tells that the Solar Trees “communicate more than light… they communicate the trust of placing beautifully made, complex natural forms outside for the benefit of all of society becoming a museum that if folded inside out, the museum as an incubator of change in society… and with this the promotion of environmental science and the joy of the new aesthetics made possible by the digital process.

Since it’s a solar-powered street light, my guess is as long as it’s been exposed to significant amount of sunlight during daytime then it’ll be able to shine you through the cold nights. These trees will be switched on only from October 8 onwards

The title of this post doesn’t answer your question at all. What I wanna tell you is the metallic piece shown in the picture is actually a lamp. Yes, it’s a lamp. I’m not fooling you. It’s a lamp that is so flexible that allows it to be bent into various shapes, at times, it can resemble a pizza or a cobra. That’s how it gets its name – Pizza Cobra. If you wanna see how it transforms itself into a lamp or a cobra, more pictures in the cobra form after the jump.
The body is chrome-plated and its light source is made up of 6 white LEDs

If you happened to find some kind of oversized and illuminating jellyfishes floating next to you in the swimming pool. Don’t panic, they aren’t the floating sea-living organism that could kill. It’s just the Medusa lamp that is shaped like a jellyfish that feeds on the sunlight during daytime and shines your way through to let you have a brighter path to enjoy your swimming during night time. Sorry, it’s still too early to talk about such a nice floating lamp for your swimming pool as it’s only a concept. Well, a nice concept!
