Bury CV 9040 car’s handsfree kit ensures safe driving

Here comes the Bury Technologies’ CV 9040 handsfree, which is attachable to your car, such as next to the rear view mirror. The CV 9040 handsfree ensures you to talk freely while you’re driving.

As it’s equipped with the DialogPlus voice control that makes most of its functionalities voice-operable. The manufacturer claims that the device can respond up to 95% in accuracy to voice instruction. But you still get the option of operating it with your fingers on its highly-sensitive touchscreen interface when it fails to recognize your voice.

The device is also capable of text-to-speech function that will read out every SMS received on your mobile phone, in a clear and understandable way. Which allows you, the driver, to always have your hands on the steering of your car. For incoming calls, the caller ID will be stated and displayed on the screen and you can choose to accept or decline the call by using your voice.

The device also allows other features such as call transfers and connecting up to seven participants in a conference calling. The display will also adjust itself according to the light conditions inside your car and it’ll switch itself over day to night mode automatically. Before I forget, the CV 9040 car kit handsfree is similar to other handsfree, which communicates with your mobile phone wirelessly via Bluetooth. It’ll carry a price tag of £139.99.

Update: The gadget will be available from early June 2008 in Vodafone stores, authorised Bury retailers and Chameleon Codewing on 01206 500872.
