AirPod – air-powered car, not bad, looks cute
AirPod is an air-powered car, which many have commented that it looks little weird. To me, it looks kind of cute which surely attracts many eyes if you’re one driving this little car on the road.
The AirPod was built by MDI, and it’s powered by the MDI’s compressed air system that uses electricity to compress huge amounts of air in small tanks. The air is then slowly released from the tanks to drive those pistons of this car to get it moving.

The AirPod has three seats only, which one of them is facing backward. This car can reach a maximum speed of 40 miles per hour only and can stretch itself up to a range of 130 miles before going for the next refill. Refilling this car can be pretty quick by the use of aircar fueling station on the road or by having one inexpensive air compressor at home to fill up yourself, which might take you some times.
The maker hopes to bring this car into America for sale in 2010. And it’s been licensed for use in India and Europe by Tata Motors.
